Речь идет об episodic content , а не о том что игры будут выходить эпизодами.
Это то же самое что броня для лошади или дополнительные квесты в Обливионе за 2$
Но разработчики из Bioware клянуться что до продажи лошадиной брони не опустятся и episodic content для Dragon Age будет представлять из себя нечто наподобие оффициальных модулей для NWN.
"BioWare has been doing content like this for many years with Neverwinter Nights. Our digital games Witches Wake, Pirates of the Sword Coast, Kingmaker, Infinite Dungeons and Wyvern Crown of Cormyr are all "episodic content". We were doing multiple hours of gameplay with plot and story for (what I consider) a fairly reasonable price long before you could by horse armor for $2.
But basically if you don't like it, don't want it, or don't think it is good value, don't get it. The content will, in all likelyhood, be fun but optional. So if you choose not to get it, it will not affect your enjoyment of the main title (Dragon Age, Mass Effect or whatever)."
